On top of being clear and unnoticeable, Invisalign treatment has fewer appointments compared to traditional braces, so that means less scheduling around orthodontic treatment. Every two months Jamie comes in for a quick visit to pick up her new set of aligners and to check her progress. “I've always wanted straight teeth. I chose Invisalign over traditional braces because I didn't want them to be as noticeable. Hoping within a few years I would be getting proposed to and a marriage soon to follow, I didn't want to have metal in all of my pictures.”
When asked her favorite thing about Invisalign Jamie says, “ I love that I can see my teeth improving every time I put a new Invisalign tray in.”
While Jamie’s teeth are gradually being straightened, she and Steven are busy opening a new business and planning their wedding. “Many of our friends have had a much shorter engagement compared to us” says Jamie. “We set our date two years from now so we could enjoy our time and space out spending and planning for the wedding, all while adjusting to being new business owners.”
Their love of water and outdoor activities inspired their new business Southern Stitch Canvas & Upholstery, LLC. The local canvas shop does marine, auto, residential, and commercial upholstery and is keeping them busy. Working together, Jamie and Steven are making sure their customers are getting quality support and an excellent finished product.
The coastal atmosphere which has inspired their business has also played a huge role in deciding a wedding venue. “We know we want an intimate beach wedding with our close family and friends” says Jamie. “It just fits our personalities.”
Jamie will be done with her Invisalign treatment long before the wedding bells ring. What do you think about juggling wedding planning and opening a new business? Do you have any advice for the soon to be Mr. and Mrs.?
